Cricket commentator Sanjay Manjrekar again found himself in trouble after calling Hardik Pandya an arrogant lad.
The all-rounder was dismissed run out in a very casual manner during the third day of the second Test. Pandya, while returning to his crease couldn’t keep his bat down and was found in the air when the ball hit the stumps and was given out by the TV umpire.
Hardik drew a lot of criticism after the dismissal, as India was successfully building up a much-needed partnership before Pandya’s easy-going attitude cost India a wicket.
Sanjay Manjrekar criticized the Pandya and said it was his arrogance that took over his attitude. His tweet read, “Early lesson for Hardik Pandya that this game will come to bite you back if you let confidence become arrogance.”

Twitter couldn’t digest the word ‘arrogance’ with one of their most loved cricketers. They went on to correct Manjrekar, but not the way anyone would want. Twitterati roasted the commentator over his comment on Pandya.
You can call it carelessness, but arrogance, really? Ashwin was doing the same thing two overs later, is he even more arrogant?
